Arts and Artists: Ron Mueck

Ron Mueck is the first artist I'd like to write about. After discovering his unbelievable sculptures on the internet I immediately fell in love with his work and was hooked. His details and sculpting skills are one of a kind and will blow your mind ;)

Mr. Mueck is an artist from London, England who specializes in sculptures. He used to be a model maker and puppeteer for television and films (for example, he created Ludo the gentle giant in Labyrinth).

(Ludo)

Ron Mueck now focuses on making hyper-realistic sculptures of humans that reside in such museums around the World as the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke UniversityTate GalleryNational Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, Queensland Gallery of Modern Art and National Gallery of Australia to name a few. His sculptures have museum visitors, fans and fellow artists staring at for hours. I can't believe my eyes, but you be the judge
