.: Cool Material Alert: Clever Remodeling Ideas for your House

So I recently came across this really cool article about Clever House Remodeling ideas. I liked it so much that I wanted to share it in my blog! Some of these ideas are really practical and easy to execute while other ideas were a little complex and un-realistic unless you have a huge-house-renovations budget.

Alas, here are the Clever Remodeling Ideas for your House;

1. Lower your living room to give a feeling of intimacy which creates a great conversational pit with maximum comfort.

2. Convert your attic into a pillow room! Hugh Hefner did!

3. Convert the back of your staircase into a library! It's use of space is genius and it makes you look smart and cultured.

4. Use that negative space under your stairs for storage! Or to stash your children during dinner parties!

5. Or turn that space into a Book-Nook. It's private and can be very comfortable! Beware anybody who is claustrophobic!

6. Or turn that space into a pet house! Your animals will love it! Beware anyone who can't fit into that area. Your animals will crap there!

7. Have a dishwasher in your kitchen? Why not have 2 smaller ones? (Ya this doesn't make much sense to me either, but it looks cool!)

8. Tree house! You know you want one!

9. Turn a garden shed or green house into a cozy, outside office! Or somewhere to light up your hookah!

10. (For brand new homes still in construction phase) Install pest control IN walls before dry wall. Smart idea for anyone planning on having pests in their house!

11. Baseboard Cupboards!!! You can never have enough storage in your kitchen!

12. Hidden Rooms? Why the H not?!?

13. Magnetic Walls! You can even throw on a metal jacket and have hours of fun!

14. S Shape Shower Seat! Say that 10 times fast! This is meant for people who have a lot of time on their hands!

15. High ceilings? Ever consider a ceiling canopy?

16. Walk in Shower anybody? You never have to worry about cleaning your shower doors again! And you feel like a car every time you take a shower!

17. Install chutes in your kitchen walls! They can be for recycling, garbage or whatever you want!

18. Platform Storage! You can do this with a spare bedroom or a guest room. It turns useless space to storage base where you can hide all of the stuff you hoard!

19. Install bar rail on your patio. This is a great idea to add more "put-down-stuff" space.

20. We've all seen this space before. You walk into a house and look up and you have 20 ft ceilings. Waste of space! Turn that space into a playroom for your kids! If you really love your kids!
